Mindify Map is a browser-first AI mind map generator. Give it a concrete text prompt, choose whether you are brainstorming, planning, or learning, and it creates an editable hierarchy of nodes. You can then correct the structure, export it as PNG, one-page PDF, or XMind, or share it through a controlled link.
The product is designed for the moment between a rough thought and a useful structure. It does not treat AI output as a finished answer. The person using the map remains responsible for facts, priorities, and decisions.
How does Mindify Map create an AI mind map?
The editor asks for three inputs: the subject, the goal, and the desired level of detail. Brainstorm favors distinct directions, Plan favors actions and dependencies, and Learn favors explanations and concepts. Quick and detailed modes control the size of the first draft.
After generation, the result appears on a conventional node canvas. Every node can be renamed, moved, added, or removed. That editing step matters because a plausible hierarchy is not necessarily the right hierarchy. AI may omit an important constraint, combine separate ideas, or place evidence beneath the wrong conclusion. Review the relationships before polishing the wording.
Plus and Pro members can also record a short voice note. Mindify Map transcribes the recording into the normal prompt field first, allowing the transcript to be corrected before a generation is used. Voice input changes how the prompt is captured; it does not remove the review step.
What can you do with the finished map?
Mindify Map supports three export formats and three link-access patterns. Use the output that matches what the next person needs to do.

Public read-only maps have server-rendered titles, descriptions, and text outlines so they remain readable without waiting for the interactive canvas. Password-protected and collaboration pages are excluded from search indexing.
Is Mindify Map free?
Yes. A guest can generate two maps per UTC day without creating an account. A signed-in Free account receives five generations per UTC day and can keep map history in the cloud. Plus is $8 USD per month for 500 generations and Pro is $19 USD per month for 1,500 generations. Paid allowances reset with the Stripe billing period and unused generations do not roll over.
Editing, changing layout, exporting, and sharing do not spend another generation. A generation is charged only when an AI-created map succeeds; failed generations are returned to the available balance. The pricing page is the current source for plan limits, billing, cancellation, and refund terms.
What does Mindify Map not support?
Mindify Map currently accepts text prompts and reviewed voice transcripts. It does not fetch or summarize a PDF, webpage, YouTube URL, video, or arbitrary uploaded document. If your work begins with one of those sources, create or obtain notes you are allowed to use, verify them against the source, and place a concise excerpt in the prompt. Choose a source-ingestion product when automatic file or media analysis is the main job.
The product also does not claim offline-first operation. A map already loaded in the browser may remain locally available during a short interruption, but AI generation, account history, cloud saves, sharing, and collaboration require an internet connection.
Collaboration shows which node another active editor is working on and checks map versions before saving. It does not show live cursors or merge simultaneous text edits character by character. Large workshops that need voting, timers, comments, or enterprise workspace controls are better served by a broader visual collaboration platform.
What is a useful first prompt?
A useful prompt names an outcome and the constraints that change the answer. Instead of entering “marketing,” try:
Plan a four-week launch campaign for a new productivity app aimed at independent consultants, with a $2,000 budget and one person available to create content.
After generation, check whether the branches cover the audience, message, channels, assets, schedule, risks, and measurement. Delete any generic branch, add evidence you already have, and identify assumptions that still need a test. The same pattern works for study and brainstorming: ask a concrete question, name the intended result, and include only constraints that genuinely matter.

How should you evaluate the result?
Use the first map as a draft you can inspect, not proof that the subject has been understood. A short review catches most practical problems:
- Are the top-level branches distinct, or are several saying the same thing?
- Does every supporting node belong beneath its current parent?
- Are facts, assumptions, options, decisions, and actions clearly separated?
- Which claims need a source, owner, date, or measurement?
- What should be removed before the map is shared with someone else?
For study or research, check claims against course material or primary sources. For project work, confirm constraints and commitments with the people who own them. For marketing, replace generic suggestions with customer evidence and a specific point of view.
Where can I find verified product information?
The About page maintains a dated summary of current capabilities, limitations, technology, and support information. The site also publishes JSON-LD, XML sitemaps, RSS, robots directives, and an llms.txt summary for machine readers. When a short summary differs from a human-readable product or policy page, use the human-readable page as the primary source and report the conflict to support@mindifymap.com.
